Armstrong, Kennedy and Olivier are Dick Howser Trophy National Players of the Week

The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) released its Dick Howser Trophy National Player of the Week awards presented by The Game Headwear for the period ending Feb. 15. Baylor senior first baseman Tyce Armstrong and Kansas State’s junior shortstop Dee Kennedy were named National Co-Hitters of the Week, while Lamar senior right-handed pitcher Chris Olivier was named National Pitcher of the Week.

NCBWA names 2025 Freshman All-America Team

A total of 34 standout freshmen college baseball players from every part of the country are featured on the 2025 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Freshman All-America Team, the organization announced today.

Finalists revealed for 2023 NCBWA Stopper of the Year Award

Ten relievers have been named finalists for the 18th NCBWA Stopper of the Year Award, given to the top relief pitcher in NCAA Division I Baseball.
