Temple's Taylor headlines USBWA's women's weekly honors
For the period through Sunday, Jan. 25, the five Ann Meyers Drysdale national women’s honorees of the week are N.C. State guard Zoe Brooks; Ole Miss forward Cotie McMahon; Oregon State guard Kennedie Shuler; Temple guard Tristen Taylor; Columbia guard Riley Weiss. The Tamika Catchings freshman of the week is Oklahoma guard Aaliyah Chavez, and the team of the week is Iowa.
USBWA NAMES 2021-22 WOMEN'S ALL-AMERICA TEAM
Seven repeat selections including four from the first team and three three-time members headline the 2021-22 U.S. Basketball Writers Association Women's All-America Team. There are 13 different schools represented on the 15-woman team with top-ranked and No. 1 overall NCAA Tournament seed South Carolina and Stanford each boasting two selections.

For the season's eighth honorees for games ending Sunday, Jan. 23, the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Ann Meyers Drysdale Women's National Player of the Week goes to Kansas State center Ayoka Lee, the organization's Tamika Catchings women's freshman player honor goes to Florida guard Alberte Rimdal, and the USBWA women's national team citation goes to Ole Miss.
